I know that it is sometimes puzzling to look at a bathroom that is finished, and try to envision all the man hours and supplies, and work and problem solving that went into it. Thanks for the CD. I did just take the time to look at the pictures and have a far better understanding of things you told me. As you say, a picture says it all. I would think they would be a helpful preview for anyone wanting to understand the process. So go ahead and use them. At first, I thought, "Hey, the old didn't look so bad," till I saw the condition of the floor beneath. Wow!
I sensed your professionalism from the start and your wealth of experience surely helped resolve some tricky unforeseeables. Your genial manner and old-fashioned work ethic are, indeed, refreshing and admirable. Bill is clearly experienced in his own right but I'm sure he is learning some new tricks from the (ahem) older master. And if Chard likes you, you are in like Flynn.
No hurry on the water filter, whenever. I am very slowly getting things to some semblance of order. I suspect I will be calling upon you again for another project once I get past this one.
You're clearly a high energy fellow and your work is pure craftsmanship, no shortcuts or "good enoughs" that I have experienced before. It is also clear you take great pride in a job well done. You did as you said deliver high quality for a fair price and for that I am most grateful.
It does not appear you will be slowing down in the foreseeable future but do take the time to get a few rounds of golf and to hit the open road.
